Galloping
Acres Foundation is co-sponsored by Hanover
County Parks and Recreation. This program is taught
six weeks in the fall and two six week sessions in the
Spring. Our program is offered to individuals with
some cognitive, physical, or emotional disabilities.
Classes are taught by Certified Instructors and
consist of Shannon Lawson, Julie Rath, Mary Helen
Crowder. and Forrester Potter. Participants will also
experience a wide range of benefits from increased
flexibility and better balance to greater confidence
and self esteem. We are also a PATH
International member center.
There are many ways that you can make a
difference and help the Galloping Acres
Foundation, Inc. in its continuing commitment to
providing therapeutic riding to the community.
Volunteer to help us on-site, contribute a monetary
donation and/or provide us with much needed assistance
through our Wish List.
Galloping Acres Foundation, Inc. is a 501 (c)
3, non-profit foundation. Through the generosity of
people like you, Galloping Acres is able to continue
providing these valuable services to the community.
Monetary donations are used to provide scholarships
and buy additional equipment. Donations of any size
are warmly accepted.
